Let me tell you about my day.

     At work, I came back a bit early from break and happened to stop and say hi to a woman who worked with me frequently over the winter when Chocolate World was all but dead every day. We had a chance to talk and catch up, and when I told her about Nicaragua, she immediately asked me for a support letter! God is so good... but it doesn't end there.

     After I got home this evening, my mom told me that I had an email from my grandmom, so I went to check it out. While I was online, I went to read my other emails and saw one from my church.. opened that.. and PRAISE GOD they have chosen to support me for nearly half of the cost of the trip! I was so blown away, I cried (and if you know me, you know that's a rarity)! What an encouragement to have PGBC affirm God's leading for me in this trip and that they believe in the work He will be doing through me to such an extent! THANK YOU JESUS! God is so good... but it doesn't end there.

     Through this blog, I hope to post pictures of Nicaragua, my team, the people I meet, etc. The only problem with that was that I didn't exactly have a camera. So I had decided to pray for one, not telling anybody yet. Well... my dad has been at the same company for 25 years, and (ever so non-coincidentally) happened to receive a catalog of various gifts the company offers in honor of their employees' years of service. Guess what one of those gifts happened to be? My dad, without knowing I had been praying for a camera, came to me tonight and showed me the catalog, offering the camera for me to use during my trip! God is so good!     ... and it will NEVER just end there.

     Praise God, jehovah-jireh, my provider, who controls the circumstances of this world and of my life! Praise the One who has called me on this trip to bring light to the people of Nicaragua and encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ there! Praise the Almighty, who forms the answers to prayer before I was even born! Praise God, my God, for the many many blessings He brings! With my whole heart I will rejoice!
