Well the countdown is... umm... counting down, and I am fighting the urge to mentally "check out" of life here in PA. So far I think I'm winning, mostly because I am at work constantly and don't have a chance to think. I have just 5 days off between now and September 8th, the first of which is coming up this Wednesday. All I can say is "It's about time!" There is still so much to find, get, decide, or do before I leave (I tried to make a list of 25 things, and it grew to about 60)... my luggage (to find), bug spray (to get), and working more on my Spanish (to do) are just to name a few. However, Wednesday is not going to be filled with me crossing things off my list. Wednesday, I will be taking a Sabbath.

I will be turning my phone off, so don't bother calling. I will be sleeping in (no alarm - gasp!) so that when I start to read my Bible I don't have to prop my eyes open. I will be praying, and most importantly I will be listening, which I admit is one of the first things I've let go of in all the preparation and craziness. I am making time to sit down, be quiet, and be STILL.

(Now I just have to make it through tomorrow....)
